TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Inline Film expects 20% of the final payment on confirmation of booking

 

• Final payment is due no later than 14 days before the date of the event/production start date.


• Product will be released and delivered once final payment has been received and cleared.


• Payment accepted by bank transfer or cheque. All cheques must be made payable to Inline Film.


• Client is responsible for all expenses incurred by Inline Film during all stages of a production, Including but not exclusively: transport, accommodation, food bill’s etc. Unless stated and agreed upon in the contract or package (Wedding packages include these costs unless stated otherwise, Locations further than 50 miles from Inline|Film office will incur these costs unless agreed otherwise).

 

• Travel expenses: Travel by car is charged at 20p per mile. for Rail and other, proof of cost will be provided in the form of receipt/booking confirmation or an agreed format.

 

• When filming is longer than 5 hours, either food is to be provided to crew members or time allocated in which crew can travel to an eating establishment. (If this is the option chosen Inline Film can not be responsible for any unforeseen circumstance that may delay or hinder the crew's return)

 

• Once scheduling has been agreed, there will be a leniency of 60 minutes in which the client will not be charged over the agreed price. Once 60 minutes has passed the client agrees that an hourly rate will occur per crew member, unless stated otherwise in the agreement.

 

• The customer’s requirements must be clearly provided to Inline Film in writing before commencing any work. Any subsequent changes must also be provided in writing and then approved by Inline Film and may incur further cost.


• Inline Film will only publicly release a video programme once the customer approves all content as complete and satisfactory and confirms this in writing.


• A customer may terminate the contract at any time by written notice of termination, but will lose the 20% deposit.


• When a customer terminates the contract, they will remain liable to pay in full for all work previously undertaken and in progress by Inline Film unless any other written agreement is reached in advance.


• Inline Film reserves the right to refuse to use, publish or broadcast any information it considers obscene or morally unsuitable or which would breach copyrights, or which is libelous, defamatory or illegal.

 

• Inline Film reserves the right to refuse continuation of work, if any member of the production team is seen to be undertaking abuse from the client, or affiliates. Not excluding verbal/physical abuse, bullying, damage to equipment, explicit behaviour and sexual assault.


• Inline Film cannot be held liable to any party for any errors on any medium after the customer has agreed in writing that the content is correct and accurate and should be posted, published or broadcast. The final product will be stored and secured for the maximum of one year preceding the sign off date. After this time period Inline|Film will aim to protect and store files, but can not guarantee their availability for future availability/purchase.

 

• E-mail correspondence shall be sufficient to prove changes to agreements for the form and content of programme’s as long as it is acknowledged with a response.

 

• Any claims must be made in writing to Inline Film within 7 days of receipt of goods. If no claim is made within this period the client is deemed to have accepted the goods at the agreed price.

 

• Inline Film shall be under no liability if unable to carry out any provision of the contract for any reason beyond its control including (without limiting the foregoing) Act of God, legislation, war, fire, flood, drought, failure of power supply, lock-out, strike or other action taken by suppliers or owing to any inability to procure materials required for the performance of the contract. During the continuance of such a contingency the client may, by written notice to Inline Film, elect to terminate the contract and pay for work done and materials used but subject thereto shall otherwise accept delivery when available.

 

• Delivery of the final product/film will be subject to a 6-8 week timeframe, unless stated otherwise and agreed upon with the client. Editing will only commence once all necessary information has been received e.g. song listings, footage, text information, graphics etc. The editing timeframe stated will begin once all information has been received.

 

• RAW and unedited footage will not be provided unless specified in the job requirement. Due to agreements and contracts protecting our freelancers and service providers, we reserve the right to maintain ownership of the original footage unless agreed upon.
